Sue Rossiter
Our CEO, Sue Rossiter, founded Barrett Webb in 1990. A business graduate, Sue studied in the UK and the USA before starting her career in HR with BP and the Rover Group, then becoming an executive recruiter. She was a managing consultant and partner with two executive recruitment firms prior to establishing Barrett Webb.
Having specialised in life sciences executive search for more than 20 years, Sue is one of the sector’s best-known executive recruiters. She has particular expertise in C-suite, board and senior leadership appointments in general management, commercial and development areas of the industry.

Ruth Stone
Ruth is a Director of Barrett Webb and leads our Commercial and Medical practice, providing a range of advisory and executive search services to our international clients across the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device and consumer health sectors.
With an international network of contacts and recruiting expertise across a broad range of functional specialities, Ruth is ideally placed to meet the commercial and R&D-related needs of both established and emerging healthcare businesses.
Ruth has 20 years’ experience in executive recruitment. Prior to joining Barrett Webb in 1995 she was a search consultant with Heidrick & Struggles.
Jeffrey Webb
Jeff gained broad experience in technical and manufacturing management during ten years working in the medical devices sector, including developing and leading manufacturing and technical transfer teams and change programmes.
Jeff moved into executive search in 1997, initially playing an instrumental role in developing and building a life sciences practice within a diversified executive recruitment firm. Jeff has presented on industry topics and developed discussion groups on technical, quality, regulatory and manufacturing issues.
Jeff joined Barrett Webb in 2003 and became a Director in 2009. He now leads our Operations, Technical and Regulatory practice. Jeff has a reputation for success in conducting global, European and local executive search and advisory assignments within the biotech, pharmaceutical, medical device and CMO sectors.
